Common questions

What do Locks, Rotations and Wildcards mean?

They're how a band's forecast groups the songs for their next show.

  • Locks: played almost every night of this tour. 85% or more.
  • Rotations: played on some nights, not others. From 55% up to 85%.
  • Wildcards: played now and then. Under 55%.

The numbers come from the band's recent setlists, with the latest nights counting most. How the forecast works has the details.

How do I follow an artist?

  1. Search for the artist, then open their page.
  2. Tap Follow. It changes to Following.

Your artists are all under Following. You see each one's forecast, and rare songs they just played.

To stop following, tap Following on their page. You need to be signed in to follow artists.

How do I make an Apple Music playlist of a show?

You need an Apple Music subscription. You also need to be signed in.

  1. Open the show's setlist.
  2. Find Relive this show.
  3. Tap Connect Apple Music.
  4. Tap Authorize Apple Music. Apple Music asks you to sign in and allow it.
  5. The preview comes up. It shows how many songs Apple Music has.
  6. Tap Create private playlist.
  7. Tap Open in Apple Music to listen.

Connected before? Then you won't see the connect buttons. Tap Preview playlist instead.

The playlist is private: only you can see it. Songs Apple Music doesn't have are left out, and the preview tells you which ones.

On an iPhone, you can connect in the app. There's no Authorize Apple Music step: the first time you tap Connect Apple Music, your iPhone asks you to allow it. In the app, the last button says Open Apple Music library.

On an Android phone, connect Apple Music on the website first. After that, the app can make the playlist too.

How do I change the theme?

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Under Theme, tap a theme.

It changes right away. It's saved on this device only.

How do I make the text bigger?

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Under Text size, tap Small, Medium or Large.

This is saved on this device only, too.

How do I sign in?

  1. Tap Sign in. It's on Profile, and on any screen that needs an account.
  2. Tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.

New here? Signing in the first time makes your account. There's no separate sign-up. On an Android phone, the app offers Google only.

What's a passkey?

A passkey lets you sign in with your face, your fingerprint or your screen lock. You don't need a password.

Passkeys work on the website only. The app doesn't use them.

  1. Sign in on the website.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. Under Passkeys, tap Add a passkey.
  4. Follow your device's steps.

Next time, tap Sign in, then Sign in with a passkey.

How do I download my data?

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Under Your data, tap Export my data.

You get one file with:

  • your profile (name, email, picture, and when you joined);
  • the artists you follow;
  • your concert log, with your ratings and notes, and any setlists you typed in;
  • the music services you connected, and the playlists you made with them;
  • the setlist.fm usernames you imported from.

On the website, the file downloads. In the app, your phone's share options open, so you can save it.

If it asks you to sign in again, do that first. It keeps your account safe.

How do I delete my account?

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Under Your data, tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Delete to confirm.

This removes your account, the artists you follow, your concert log, and your ratings and notes. It can't be undone. Want a copy first? Download your data before you delete.

If you added a passkey, remove it from your password manager too.
